Notes on a Series of 100 Cases of Lithotomy Performed at the Bhuj Civil Hospital

During the time that I was iu charge of the Bhuj Civil Hospital, which extended over a period of more than 19 years, I came across 415 cases of stone in the bladder, of which 395 were males and 20 females. On taking an average, it gives 21*5 cases per year. Out of 415 cases, I here give particulars, to avoid repetition, of the first 100 cases iu a tabular form. They were all operated ou by lateral lithotomy in the males, aud by lateral incision aud rapid dilatation of the urethra in the females.
